Six Cum Laude out of the five hundred ninety one graduating students in the different degree programs of the College will be receiving their Diplomas and Medals of Latin Honors on the ASCOT 22nd Commencement Exercises which will be held on April 15, 2016 at Sentro Baler.
Topping the list is Mr. Darwin L. Magtangob, Bachelor of Secondary Education-Major in English, who will be receiving a Cum Laude medal for garnering a grade point average (GPA) of 1.572. He will be followed by Rovelyn L. Lejano, Bachelor in Elementary Education who got a GPA of 1.686; Rogelio R. Picart Jr., Bachelor of Science in Agriculture with a GPA of 1.705; Krizthea Sol P. Delos Reyes, Bachelor of Science in Information Technology who acquired a GPA of 1.708; Janette R. Mangaoang, Bachelor of Elementary Education with a GPA of 1.722 and Miracle Joy N. Monje, Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering who got a GPA of 1.749.
On the other hand, three graduating students from the certificate courses will be receiving medals for their academic achievements. They are as follows: Elcris G. Ramos (Diploma in Food Technology), With Honors; Marlon D. Facelo (Certificate in Senior Electrician Course), With Honors and Melvin A. Angara (Certificate in Senior Electrician Course), With Honors.
The honor graduates will finally taste the fruit of their labor after years of striving to earn their respective degrees. The College President, Dr. Doracie B. Zoleta-Nantes together with the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Academic Directors will bestow the medals to the graduates with Latin honors who will be accompanied by their parents.
