ASCOT Takes Part in the Alay Lakad 2013

With the theme, Lakad Bayan para sa Kapayapaan, ASCOT officials and employees joined the other groups from the national and provincial government agencies, civic organizations, non government organizations, business groups, religious organizations, schools and private sectors who participated in the annual undertaking that aims to instill awareness on the importance of peace while generating funds for scholarship programs for poor but deserving and talented youth.

College President Travels to China

The Commission on Higher Education on its letter dated June 10, 2011 authorized ASCOT President, Dr. Eusebio V. Angara to travel to Beijing, China for a 10-day period starting August 4 to 14, 2011 to participate in the “Global Environmental Leaders (GELs) Summer Course 2011 Development within a Low Carbon World: Policy and Planning Instruments for Green Innovation.” The travel was thru the courtesy of Hiroshima International Center for Environmental Cooperation of Hiroshima University which shouldered all the expenses of the travel.

Dr. Silvestre C. Escueta, new ASCOT VP for Academic Affairs

In the occasion of ASCOT Faculty Orientation last June 27, 2011, Dr. Oscar T. Vallejo, officially turned the responsibility for academic concerns of the College to Dr. Silvestre C. Escueta. Dr. Escueta, “Tatay” as he is fondly called in ASCOT, Assistant Professor III, will be serving as Vice President for Academic Affairs effective July 01, 2011 until June 30, 2112.
