The Planning Office, spearheaded by its Director, Dolores Salvacion F. Tolentino, RGC, conducted a series of Review and Initial Evaluation of 2020 Performance and Finalization of the 2021 Performance Target, Action Plans, and APP-PPMPs from January 5 to 18, 2021 at the Accreditation Hall, General Education Building, ASCOT Zabali Campus and via Zoom.
The rationale behind the activity was that the College’s physical performance and other targets for FY 2020 were all cascaded to various departments/sections/units via their approved Office Performance Commitment and Review (OPCR) forms. Corollary, the shared commitments and objective measures of results/outcomes/outputs needed to be reviewed and evaluated to determine how well each delivery unit had contributed to the overall performance of the College.
It was within this premise that the undertaking was carried out. Using the team-approach to performance management, all the delivery units were given time to present and justify with substantial documents their office/self-evaluated performance ratings. In addition, they also presented their FY 2021 performance Targets, Action Plans, and APP-PPMPs which were concurred upon prior to approval.
Prior to the scheduled session, each delivery unit was required to submit to the Planning Office its self-rated OPCR. During the session, the office/self-rated OPCR was presented and reviewed for finalization. The final ratings shall be cascaded down to the group members’ Individual Performance and Commitment Review (IPCR) forms corresponding to their 1st and 2nd Semester Performance Rating supported with documentary evidences.
Simultaneously, the 2021 OPCR and APP-PPMP were reviewed and concurred to by the head of the delivery unit. These will serve as the final documents that will be used as guide in implementing Projects, Activities and Programs (PAPs) and in procuring the needed supplies, materials, and equipment.
After the scheduled sessions, it was expected that the following documents will be finalized and approved: 2020 OPCR; 1 st and 2 nd Semester 2020 IPCRs; 2021 APP-PPMPs; and 1 st Semester 2021 OPCR and IPCR.
