Bachelor of Science in Forestry (BSF) has come a long way since its establishment in 1996. Placing in National and regional rankings in Forestry Licensure Board examination and producing excellent and competent graduates, BSF has continued to be one of the flagship courses of ASCOT.
On May 1 – 29, 2013, the ASCOT Department of Forestry and Environmental Sciences will be holding its annual Refresher Course for Forestry graduates at the AMRDI Multi-purpose hall.
The five week – course includes a review on different forestry subjects, mock examinations and Pre-Board Examination to prepare the participants in the upcoming board exam on July 14-15, 2013.
According to DFES Director, Forester RB J. Gallego, the objective of the course is to increase the potential of forestry graduates to pass the board exam. The annual Refresher course started on 1999 and has proven to be very effective since.
This year, 29 forestry graduates participated in the refresher course. The course has a registration fee of P 3,500 inclusive of a compilation of review questions and handouts and lodging at the CRM dormitory. (KTOlivar)
