Being committed in its mission and vision to provide excellence in the services it provides as a Higher Education Institution (HEI), the Aurora State College of Technology (ASCOT) underwent and passed the ISO Surveillance for this year, 2021 during a virtual Audit Recommendations conducted by the evaluators from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), December 28.
Here, the College’s quality management system was evaluated on how well it is maintaining its performance in the fields and areas to ensure that it will deliver quality services and effectively meet the demands and needs of its students and different stakeholders as a whole.
In a Facebook post, the College President – Dr. Eutiquio L. Rotaquio, Jr. expressed his thanks and appreciation to the people and team behind this success. He also congratulated the whole College and said that the perseverance and determination of the College will always be the essential keys to promoting excellence and quality service for ASCOT.
ISO certification certifies and ensures that a management system, manufacturing process, service, or documentation procedure of a certain institution, company, or office has all the requirements for standardization and quality assurance. ISO is an independent, non-governmental, international organization that develops standards to ensure the quality, safety, and efficiency of products, services, and systems.
As an educational institution aiming for “universityhood”, undergoing this certification proves that ASCOT will always be committed to achieving its goals of ensuring its students will always be steps ahead towards development.
