In the endeavor of boosting ASCOT exposure in international standard of research, ASCOT College President, Dr. Eusebio V. Angara, successfully shared his valuable thoughts as one of the Key Note Speaker in the ITMAR 2014. His words opened the horizon of new research and practice for conference participants from across the globe during the International Conference on Innovative Trends in Multidisciplinary Academic Research held in Istanbul Turkey last October 20-21, 2014. Among the countries who participated were Algeria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Bosnia, Brunei, Ghana, Greece, India, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Libya, Malaysia, Morocco, Nigeria, Oman, Pakistan, Philippines, Poland, Romania, Russia, South Korea, Sweden, Taiwan, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey, UAE, United Kingdom, Vietnam and Yugoslavia.

Aside from the College President, ASCOT was also represented by Prof. Rufina I. Talavera who presented a paper entitled Syntactic Errors in the English Compositions written by the Teacher Education Students of Aurora State College of Technology and For. Ma. Cristina B. Canada who received a Shield of Honour Award for her work on A Baseline Study of Bivalve Species Composition and Diversity in Selected Intertidal Zones of Casiguran, Aurora, Philippines. Both were praised for the quality of their researches which are now published internationally under the Global Illuminators.

The ITMAR-2014 was organized by the Global Illuminators Publishing, an organization that offers a platform that provide equal opportunity to all fields for sharing innovative insights to meet the challenges faced by developing countries in transforming from traditional economy to knowledge based economy.
