The college president appoints Ms. Melita M. Amatorio, known to many as Maam Mely, as the new External affairs and Community Relations Coordinator, effective since February 2017.

Duties and responsibilities attached to her new designation includes: planning, developing and establishing of programs on building linkages with the external institutions – both local and international, establishing linkages with alumni, and disseminating information on employment opportunities and school linkages.

One of the few programs that she initiates is the formulation of programmatic plan and action regarding disaster risk reduction management. Currently, she is creating a core that will compose the Disaster Risk Reduction Committee. This group will be responsible in formulating the plans of the college in the said matter. Her office will be under the direct supervision of the Office of the College President.

The hardworking lady has been serving the college as Administrative officer V since 20th of December 2004. Most of her career was spent as the Budget Officer III of the college dating back from June 1994 to Dec 19, 2004.

Maam Mely is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Commerce Major in Accounting . A proud alumnus of Mount Carmel College – year 1987. She went on to further hone her skills through the ASCOT-NEUST Collaboration Program where she gained her degree master in management major in public management – year 1999

She was born on Aug 25, 1958 and raised in San Luis Aurora. Now a mother of four and currently residing at Brgy. Pingit Baler, Aurora together with her family.

Some of her training and seminar that qualify her to her current post are: Emergency Medial First Responders Course conducted by the Philippine Public Safety and Order Support, Training on Implementation of Government Accounting Manual (GAM), Community Disaster Risk Reduction Education Seminar (CDRRES), Seminar-workshop on the Harmonization of University/College Codes (Manuals of Operations) among SUS in Central Luzon, Workshop on the Preparation of SUC’s GAD plan and Budget, and Flagship Course on Administrative Serve Excellence conducted by the one the premier institutions in the country – Development Academy o the Philippines.
