Taking advantage of the K-12 reforms and contributing in achieving high levels of excellence in education, ASCOT has started its implementation of the Senior High School Program last May 2016 with a total of five hundred eighty five (585) enrolees from the different public and private high schools in the province.

In line with this implementation, the Senior High School Department of the College had its very first Senior High School Parents’ Orientation Program last Friday, July 1, 2016 at the ASCOT Gymnasium to clarify the program structure of the Senior High School and to address the necessary concerns and questions regarding the implementation of the program including the Voucher Program.

The College President, Dr. Doracie B. Zoleta-Nantes, was present during the orientation to formally welcome the fresh faces of ASCOT and their parents and to brief them with the ASCOT vision, mission, goals, and objectives as well as the core values and attributes of being an ASCOTIAN.

The event also explain the relevance of Senior High School, specifically when it comes to finding better employment opportunities regardless of whether students choose to pursue higher studies, decide to work or start their own business after finishing Senior High.

The event was organized by the Senior High School team spearheaded by the Program Focal Person, Prof. Rufina I. Talavera.
