Aurora State College of Technology celebrated the opening of its seven Smart Classrooms with a ribbon-cutting ceremony graced by the College President, Dr. Doracie B. Zoleta-Nantes, and VP for Administration, Dr. Oscar C. Barawid last July 8, 2016.
The seven newly installed Smart Classrooms were equipped with Php. 2, 100, 000.00 worth of IT equipment which upgraded the traditional classrooms to a learning environment that enable teaching with technology and greater interactivity.This project was funded by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) to support the ASCOT’s developmental effort in keeping the lead role in providing excellent education.
After the traditional cutting of ribbon, students and members of the faculty were officially welcomed inside the innovative classrooms and started using the computers.Everyone is hoping that these seven smart classrooms will greatly help in improving the teaching-learning experiences in the College.
