In quest for academic excellence, Dr. Silvestre C. Escueta, Engr. Amarlo A. Banania and For. Michelle A. Resueño presented their research outputs in the recently concluded International Conference on Multidisciplinary Trends in Academic Research (MTAR 2014) held at Holiday Inn Bangkok Silom, Bangkok, Thailand last September 29-30, 2014.

The MTAR 2014 with the theme, “Multidisciplinary Academic Research for Betterment of Society”, serves as a platform for stirring the new ideas, presenting cutting edge research and promoting collaborations among scholars from various fields.

The highlights of the conference were the keynote speech of international speakers, Dr. Mohammad Bashir Khan and Dr. Balachandar S. Sayapathi and the plenary sessions.

Dr. Escueta presented his paper entitled Vegetational Composition and Diversity along Erosion Prone Areas of Canili-Pantabangan Road Network (2010-2013) in Aurora Province, Philippines, while For. Michelle A. Resueño presented her paper on Assessment of Sea Cucumber Fishery in Aurora Philippines; both papers were under the Physical Life and Applied Sciences Track. And for the Engineering Track, Engr. Banania presented his work entitled Performance of Different Vegetable Oil-Diesel Blends used in a Single Cylinder Diesel Engine.

Recognized by the organization, their research papers now relish the privilege of being published internationally under the Global Illuminators.

In addition to that, Dr. Escueta and For. Resueño also perform their duties as Session Chair during international conference on MTAR 2014.

Such conferences opens up opportunities to encourage the faculty to do research, innovations and scholarly works and also provides new linkages to other institutions and researchers for future collaborative partnership.
