ASCOT Library launches its online site

This makes every Library services available not only to the students of ASCOT but also to the community.

The ASCOT Library site features its new books acquisition, online public access catalog, access free electronic resources, library instructions, and learn more about the library.

It uses the Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) system with six sections to organize its resources. These include General Circulation, Filipiniana, Periodicals/Serials, General Reference, Internet, and DOST-STARBOOKS. The library employs the KOHA system for computerized tasks such as catalog searching, circulation, inventory, and system administration, streamlining processes like borrowing, returning, searching, cataloging, and inventory management.

Ma’am Mardelyn Barrogo, College Librarian III, invites all ASCOTians to explore and enjoy the services provided by the college library. “The convenience of accessing these services online will undoubtedly encourage more ASCOTians to engage in reading and research, whether inside or outside the library.”
