March 8, 2024 – Aurora State College of Technology (ASCOT) School of Education conducted a Last Minute BLEPT (Board Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers) Tips and Review program. The event was tailored for education and CPE graduates of ASCOT preparing for the upcoming BLEPT in March 2024.

Dr. Rowel Olila, Dean of the ASCOT School of Education, warmly welcomed all participants to the event. In his speech, he said, “Kaya may programang ganito ay dahil mahalaga kayo sa amin. Gusto naming ma-ensure na ang performance ninyo ay maganda. Sana, ‘yung support na ibinibigay namin will give you the message that you need para sa darating na board exam.”

The day-long program includes a General Orientation, Orientation on General Education Questions, Tips and Review sessions, and a platform for sharing tips and best practices among participants.

Speakers at the event included Mr. Edmundo Y. David, Jr., Mr. Jefferson Lising, and Mrs. Julie T. Gines. Additionally, valuable insights and experiences were shared by Ms. Marjorie Quiap, Ms. Vivialyn Portera, Clarisse Diaz Carrera , and Ms. Aira Geelyn Sollegue.

Present also at the event were Dr. Jay Amon, Dean of Graduate Studies, and ASCOT School of Educatiion faculty members: Dina Dela Cruz Lim, Krisselle Tangalin, Israeliza Hugo, Aimee Cruz, Edna Celindro, Jan Christopher Salazar, and Reaiah N. Codiapit.

The event aimed to provide crucial support and guidance to the aspiring teachers, ensuring they are well-prepared and confident as they approach the BLEPT.
