Recognizing the site’s deep historical and spiritual significance, the discussion centered on proposed enhancements, including the renovation of eight cottages, which may be redesigned and renamed “Balay” to promote cultural inclusivity. Plans also include installing busts representing Aurora’s towns and religious symbols to highlight the province’s rich heritage and traditions.

Beyond infrastructure, the partnership aims to develop programs and activities that will engage local communities, students, and tourists in heritage appreciation. Possible initiatives include guided historical tours, educational exhibits, and cultural performances that will bring Ermita Hill’s legacy to life.

ASCOT and the Aurora Tourism Office emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts in ensuring that Ermita Hill remains a cultural and historical beacon for future generations. With strong support from municipal tourism officers, this partnership signals a renewed commitment to heritage preservation and tourism growth in Aurora Province.
