The ASCOT School of Industrial Technology first year students emabarked on “The President’s Garden” project. This initiative is part of their NSTP-CWTS program for the second semester of the academic year 2023-2024. This is aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 11 Sustainable Cities and Communities- improving school infrastructure and surroundings.
The main goal of this project is to transform the ASCOT President’s Office backyard into a stunning garden. It also aims to beautify the area, making it a serene spot for both college guests and students. Additionally, it seeks to create a welcoming environment for visitors, leaving them with a positive impression of the campus.
Guiding the students are their instructors: Jelly Mae B. Longalong, Engr. Acer John V. Friginal, and Reynamel A. Rufo. Together, they are driving the effort to turn this outdoor space into a relaxing haven that enhances campus life.
