A SoEd student of Aurora State College of Technology (ASCOT) Secures 1st Place in Creative Spoken Poetry at Gawad Aninag 2023!
We are proud to share the outstanding achievement of Riyen Dolores, a talented third year student from the Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd) program at the School of Education (SoEd). Riyen has emerged as the champion in Creative Spoken Poetry at the Gawad Aninag 2023 – A Secondary Event of Regional Convention held at Holy Angel University, Angeles City, Pampanga.
Riyen’s remarkable victory comes as no surprise, as his talent has been recognized before. In 2022, Riyen made a name for himself by securing the first runner-up position at the CAASUC III- Spoken Poetry Competition.
We would like to acknowledge the invaluable guidance and mentorship provided by Associate Prof. Glenda M. Nad-Gines, who coached Riyen throughout his journey. It is worth mentioning that Prof. Glenda also mentored the 2018 grand winner, Reaiah N. Codiapit, in the same event. Your unwavering support and commitment to nurturing young talents are truly inspiring!
Let’s extend our heartfelt congratulations to Riyen Dolores, Prof Glenda M. Nad-Gines, and the entire BEEd community at the School of Education (SoEd) for this remarkable accomplishment. Riyen’s triumph reflects their exceptional talent, dedication, and the collective effort of the SoEd family.
Kudos, Ma’am G! Kudos, Ka-EDUC! Your unwavering dedication to empowering students and fostering excellence in the arts deserves applause.
Padayon! As we celebrate Riyen’s outstanding success, let us continue to support and encourage our students to pursue their passions and showcase their talents. The future is bright, and we eagerly anticipate witnessing the remarkable achievements that lie ahead.
