Aiming to maintain smooth transactions and communication among Aurora State College of Technology’s (ASCOT) faculty members and staff, also with the students, and for other professional-related purposes amidst the pandemic, Smart Communications, Inc. gave free 5G sim cards to the College.
In a simple turn-over program, the College President Dr. Eutiquio L. Rotaquio, Jr., together with the Vice President for Planning and Finance; Forester Michelle A. Resueno, and Public Information, Publication, and Data Protection Office (PIPDPO) Director, Mr. Sherwin B. In cooperation with the Human Resources Management Office (HRMO), the PIPDPO leads the sim cards’ distribution to the employees by designating each employee their mobile number from the sim.
The given mobile numbers were collected and will be publicly available during work hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM from Mondays to Saturdays. For more ease of coordination, the numbers will be posted on the College’s official website and will be enrolled in the ASCOT Infocast System.
Aside from the free sim cards, ASCOT faculty members and staff were also given a chance to win over three thousand persons worth of prizes from Smart like loads, load cards, and pocket wifi upon activating their sim cards by loading fifty pesos at any Smart retailer outlets.
