The ranking uses metrics like the H-index, i10-index, and citation counts to assess research productivity.

ASCOT President Dr. Renato G. Reyes, specializing in Mycology, leads the ranking in the Total Citations category, a measure of cumulative citations throughout a researcher’s career. He is joined by three engineers – Engr. Alking B. Gorospe, PhD; Engr. Oscar C. Barawid, PhD; and Engr. Mark Angelo Diaz, PhD – all recognized for their contributions to the field of engineering. Former ASCOT President Dr. Eutiquio L. Rotaquio, Jr., stands out in Forestry.

President Reyes maintains his top position in the Last 6 Years Citations category, alongside Engr. Gorospe, Engr. Barawid, Engr. Diaz, and Dr. Rotaquio. This metric highlights recent academic productivity and relevance.

In the H-index categories, which measure the number of publications with at least that many citations, Pres. Reyes again emerges as a leading figure, joined by Engr. Gorospe, Engr. Barawid, and Engr. Diaz in Engineering and Technology. Forester Maria Cristina B. Cañada is recognized in Forestry.

The consistent performance of these ASCOT scientists in both the Total Citations and Last 6 Years H-index categories showcases their ability to produce impactful work regularly, driving innovation and fostering improvements in their respective fields. This achievement highlights ASCOT’s commitment to academic excellence and inspires its community to pursue impactful research and innovation.
