January 23, 2024, ASCOT Gymnasium, Zabali Campus- Senator Imee Marcos extended support to 2000 deserving students from the Aurora State College of Technology (ASCOT) through the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD)- Assistance in Crisis Situation providing each student with a 5K cash allowance.

Key college officials, including OIC Lora Yusi, DPA, and Dr. RB J. Gallego, Vice President for Academic Affairs, expressed gratitude to both the DSWD and Senator Imee Marcos for their support.

Provincial Governor Christian Noveras was also present and delivered an inspirational message, highlighting the fortunate circumstances of ASCOT having such a program and praising Senator Imee Marcos , “Kung mayroong problema, laging may solusyon. Kay Senator Imee, Ime-solusyon.”

April Jay S. Sanggawa, SCSC Senator for Zabali Campus, led the student response, expressing gratitude for the support and assuring that they would make the most out of the opportunity.

For. Michelle A. Resueno, Vice President for Admin, Finance, and Planning, delivered a closing message, reminding the beneficiaries of their responsibility to use the assistance wisely and emphasizing the importance of studying diligently as their way of reciprocating the generosity shown to them. “Wala po tayong ibang gagawin kung hindi ang mag aral ng mabuti. Ito lamang po ang ating maitutumbas sa mga ganitong klaseng tulong.”, Resueno emphasized.
