Giving the College’s student-researchers from different courses the opportunity to present their undergraduate thesis and research to a group of expert panels for its further improvement to become more helpful and responsive to a wider range of beneficiaries, the Aurora State College of Technology (ASCOT) Research and Development Services Office held the 1st Virtual Research Colloquium for ASCOT Students held via Zoom, December 13.

The student groups from various departments presented their respective studies aligned with their fields of specialization and courses divided into Research and Development Categories.

The winners in the Research Category are as follows:

1st Place: From the Education Department (Mulluscicidal Effect of Tubang Bakod (Jatropha curcas linn) Aqueous Extract Against Golden Apple Snails)

In a Facebook post, the Research and Development Office congratulated all the participants, especially the winners of the said conference. The winners were given certificates of recognition and cash prizes as incentives. The RnD Office also encouraged more ASCOT students to join the next year’s colloquium.
