The Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA)-Central Luzon organized a consultation meeting at the Aurora State College of Technology (ASCOT) today, July 15.

With the Senior Regional Director of PICPA-Central Luzon, Florinie Abgregunda, CPA, Mr. Marwin M. Manaloto, PICPA Regional Representative, and our very own Budget Officer, Mrs. Chrystal Faye V. Salazar, CPA, and currently PICPA-Aurora President, the team discussed their desire to assist the College in the creation of a new course, the Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, as part of ASCOT’s plan to universityhood.

The activity is one part of PICPA’s corporate social responsibility to assist the community in the establishment of BSA programs.

The Vice President for Planning and Finance, Forester Michelle Resueño, commended the organization for their commitment to assist the College and expressed optimism for the future partnership.

The Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. RB J Gallego, also stated the ongoing preparations for the creation of the said course and other relevant fields.
