Aiming to be informed, adopt, and build further collaborations, the Philippine Association of Practitioners of Student Affairs and Services, Inc. (PAPSAS) Region III is currently holding a 2-day Benchmarking Activity at the Aurora State College of Technology (ASCOT), January 30-31.

The nine-team delegation includes PAPSAS President Mrs. Iris Ann G. Castro from Holy Angel University, Mr. Christopher Sicat and Dr. Gloria B. Gigante from Don Honorio Ventura University, Mr. Darwin Andres from Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology, Ms. Kathleen Angeles from Bataan Heroes College, Ms. Marissa Mendoza from Bulacan Polytechnic College, Dr. Lorina P. Bundang from President Ramon Magsaysay State University, and Ms. Lory Gomez from Bataan Peninsula State University.

In the benchmarking proper, the College’s Students Affairs and Services (SAS) Director, Mr. Von Gerald D. Macose, presented the best practices of his office, which focuses mainly on assisting the students in terms of publication, admission, scholarship, health, and guidance, followed by an open forum and planning for the Annual PAPSAS Convention 2023.

Present also in the said activity and who warmly welcomed the PAPSAS delegates were the Socio-cultural Affairs Director and the Dean of the School of Graduate Studies, Dr. Jay Amon; one of the College’s Guidance Counselors, Dr. Alma Bayudan; the College Nurse, Mrs. Genalyn Gudoy; the head of the ASCOT Scholarship Unit, Mrs. Merly Agbayani; and the Adviser of The Voice of the Sierra, Mr. Eliseo Joseph Nakar.
