NOTICE OF SEARCH AND CALL FOR APPLICATIONS AND NOMINATIONS FOR THE ASCOT BOARD OF TRUSTEES

(2) PRIVATE SECTOR REPRESENTATIVES

The deadline for submission of application documents shall be on October 10, Monday, 5:00 p.m.

The Aurora State College of Technology (ASCOT) Board of Trustees, formally and publicly announces that the SEARCH FOR THE PRIVATE SECTOR REPRESENTATIVES IN THE GOVERNING BOARD is now open.

The following are the required minimum qualifications and documentary requirements:

A. Applicants must possess the following minimum qualifications:

  1. Must be a Filipino citizen of legal age;
  2. Must be a resident of Aurora Province for at least six (6) months;
  3. Must be from an industry, business, or profession, preferably related to ASCOT’s mandate, providing employment opportunities to the graduates;
  4. Must have distinguished himself/herself in his/her profession or field of specialization which is within the mandate of the College;
  5. Must not in any way connected with the College and other government agencies and instrumentalities in any manner;
  6. Must not have been convicted of any administrative offense or/of any crime involving moral turpitude;
  7. Must possess linkages (local, national, as well as international) which may be harnessed for the realization of the vision, mission, goals, and objectives of the College;
  8. Must explicitly manifest availability of time and commitment to the service of ASCOT;
  9. No retired government employee/official may be considered for the PSR post;

B. Five (5) photocopies of the following documents must be submitted to the SCPSR Secretariat:

  1. Letter of Intent/Nomination Form with the following documents:
  2. Comprehensive Curriculum Vitae of applicant/nominee with 2” x 2” colored photo, signed under oath;
  3. Certificate of No Pending Administrative of Criminal Case (issued by the Regional Trial Court) or NBI Clearance
  4. Certificate of Employment stating the applicant’s/nominee’s present position in the private sector.
  5. Signed Commitment and Availability of the applicant/nominee to serve as PSR;
  6. Other pertinent documents to support the CV

The deadline for submission of application documents shall be on October 10, Monday, 5:00 p.m.
