President Renato G. Reyes recently participated in the 2nd Semester Regional Ecotourism Meeting at the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Regional Office III in Pampanga, where key members from various government agencies gathered to enhance ecotourism management plans for Central Luzon.
 
The meeting featured the presentation and endorsement of Ecotourism Management Plans, including critical documents such as the Carrying Capacity Study and Tourism Appraisal Forms. These plans focus on several protected areas in Region III, including Talavera Watershed Forest Reserve, Pantabangan-Caranglan Watershed Forest Reserve, Minalungao National Park, Biak-na-Bato National Park, and Aurora Memorial National Park.
 
ASCOT’s involvement aligns with its dedication to environmental protection and supports national objectives, showcasing a proactive response to climate change and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Through collaboration with diverse stakeholders, ASCOT aims to enhance sustainable tourism practices that benefit both the environment and local communities.
