Mr. Mark Joseph R. Rafael, Instructor at the Casiguran Campus and a Graduate Scholar under the Accelerated Science and Technology Human Resource Development Program of National Science Consortium presented his paper entitled “DNA Barcoding of High Valued Aquatic Species in Coastal Waters of Aurora Province” in the recently concluded 3rd National DOST-SEI ASTHRD-NSC Scholars’ Conference.
The 3rd National Scholars’ Conference organized by the National Science Consortium in partnership with the Science Education Institute and Department of Science and Technology was held last February 27-28, 2014 at Traders Hotel Manila. Focus of this year’s activity is “Harnessing S & T Human Resources for ASEAN Integration”.
Mr. Rafael together with other scholars and faculty members convened in this Conference to facilitate collaboration within the NSC and contribute to the building of the Philippine Science Community through sharing and presenting their research developments and the outputs of their thesis/dissertation.
