ASCOT delegation composed of 2nd and 3rd Year BS Information Technology students headed by Mr. Don Sean Arvie V. Buencamino, IT Instructor attended the Student Conference in Information Technology Education 2014 conducted last January 29-30, 2014 at Baliwag Star Arena, Baliwag, Bulacan.

The Student Society Conference in IT Education 2014 was organized by the Philippine Society of Information Technology Educators with this year’s theme, “IT GATEWAYS: Giving Anew Transition in Education for a Wider Access to Youth Societies”, which aims to promote global access to information and knowledge sources.

The Conference was highlighted with series of talks from experienced and competent IT Speakers who shared their views on their respective fields of expertise such as Career Opportunities in Animation and Game Development, IT Technopreneurship, Latest Trends in Mobile Development, and Ethical Issues in ICT Environment.

ITE faculty members, professionals and students from the different HEIs of Region III attended this annual gathering to learn new perspectives on current and emerging trends, innovations and career opportunities in Information and Communication Technology.
