In line with its goal of providing information and communication technology services to the College and to the Province of Aurora, and with the implementation of its new operational plan specifically the reactivation of IT Training Programs, the Information and Communication Technology Center (ICTC) has successfully conducted its 2014 Summer Workshop.
One of these, is the Seminar Workshop on Film Appreciation and Film Making conducted last May 9-11, 2014 that was designed to develop the knowledge and skills of the participants in the production of videos such as short films,
music videos, documentary and video presentations. The three-day workshop covered lectures on theories on the language of film making and demonstration on the technical aspects of film making process and video production which was participated by students, teachers, hobbyist and film enthusiast from the province under the tutelage of Mr. Rommel Espinosa, a Film and TV Production Designer/Art Director/Performance Artist and Mr. Joseph T. Gonzales, ASCOT Board Secretary/Web Administrator, Batang Baler.
Furthermore, Training on Basic Computer Hardware Servicing and Advanced Programming was also conducted last April 14-May 30, 2014. The training provided the participants basic to advance ICT skills in competencies such as hardware assembly, software installation and maintenance, network configuration, web design and development, and programming using C and Visual Basic. The ten-day training which was participated by BSIT students who want to take advanced learning for the coming school year was trained by Mr. Aldrin S. Hertazuela and Mr. Jorell B. Mababangloob, IT Instructors from the Department of Information Technology.
