June 18, 2024 – The Aurora State College of Technology (ASCOT), in partnership with DOLE, hosted the Special Program for Employment of Students (SPES) Orientation. Twenty students have been selected to participate, working in various ASCOT offices in Bazal, Casiguran, and Zabali for 20 days. This initiative aims to enhance their personal and professional development.
Dr. Alma S. Bayudan, Director of Student Affairs Services, underscored the program’s significance in providing work experience and financial support to deserving students. ASCOT President Renato G. Reyes encouraged the beneficiaries to seize this opportunity for growth and learning.
Ms. Arlene D. Flores, representative from the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), also attended the orientation, reaffirming the government’s commitment to youth support through programs like SPES.
