Another esteemed member of the ASCOT faculty, Mr. Joshua D. Dela Cruz, Director of the Socio-Cultural Affairs Unit, was recognized as one of the Natatanging Anak ng Aurora 2024 Honorees on February 18, 2024, at the Provincial Government of Aurora Grounds.

The Araw ng Pagkilala, one of the highlights of the Aurora Day Celebration program, provides a platform to acknowledge and celebrate the outstanding contributions of groups and individuals who have played a role in the province’s development and have brought pride and honor to the community.

In his facebook post, “Taos pusong pasasalamat sa probinsya ng Aurora para sa pagkilala at pagtanggap. Oo, proud taga-Aurora na ako!” Dela Cruz said.

Dela Cruz’s dedication and achievements have garnered him widespread recognition. Notably, he was awarded the World Diamond Leader Award in Thailand at the International Folklore Festival and honored as the DAYLA 2023 (Dona Aurora Youth Leadership Awards) Grand Winner in the Young Professional Category. Additionally, his exceptional contributions to his field at the college were further underscored by receiving the ASCOT Best Employee Award in 2023.

His accomplishments reflect excellence, and commitment to service, a character of an ASCOT faculty.
