Reyes for a courtesy call, marking the start of a collaborative initiative aimed at enhancing public awareness of financial and economic matters.
 
The meeting emphasized the BSP’s ongoing efforts to uphold the integrity of the Philippine currency and promote financial literacy nationwide. As part of this partnership, the BSP conducted a lecture series tailored for ASCOT, designed to familiarize participants with Philippine currencies, including the introduction of the first polymer piso.
 
In an online lecture, ASCOT students and faculty members gained insights on currency familiarization, digital payments, and cyber hygiene. Serving as resource speakers were Ms. Rodora Teresa Openiano, Acting Bank Officer V, and Ms. Cherry Renee Pongco, Bank Officer II.
