June 19, 2024 – Aurora State College of Technology (ASCOT) welcomed the Central Luzon Regional Project Monitoring Committee (CL-RPM) for a briefing on the ongoing construction of the Teacher Education Building, featuring 15 classrooms at Ermita Hill, Brgy. Zabali, Baler, Aurora.

ASCOT’s key officials, including President Renato G. Reyes and NEDA 3 Regional Director Ms. Nerissa T. Esguerra, delivered inspiring messages emphasizing the project’s importance in enhancing educational standards. President Reyes remarked, “Mahalaga ang araw na ito dahil ngayon ay ipapakita ng ASCOT sa CL-RPMC ang kasalukuyang estado ng proyekto na ating paguusapan. Dito rin ay tatalakayin natin ang mga paraan na maari nating gawin sa tulong ng CL-RPMC upang maipagpatuloy ang proyekto na ito” President Reyes said. On the other hand, “Nandito ang CL-RPMC para mag-assess at para na rin tulungan ang ASCOT sa mga maaring gawin upang maituloy ang proyekto na ito” Director Esguerra said.

Engr. Oscar C. Barawid, PhD, led the briefing, providing a comprehensive update on construction progress, project history, and challenges faced by ASCOT.

Following the presentation, an open forum facilitated productive discussions between ASCOT representatives and CLR-PMC members.Subsequently, both ASCOT and CLR-PMC conducted an on-site inspection at Ermita Hill to assess the project’s status.
