July 17, 2024 – The Aurora State College of Technology (ASCOT) School of Arts and Sciences held its first Recognition Ceremony, celebrating the achievements of the Class of 2024. Under the leadership of Dean Malou C. Angara, the event honored 217 graduating students, including 200 from the Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management program and 17 from the Bachelor in Tourism Management program.

Atty. Raquel Dujunco, CPA, and the current Dean of ASCOT College of Law, served as the guest speaker. She delivered an inspiring speech to the graduates and their parents, celebrating the students’ achievements and acknowledging the support and sacrifices of their families. She emphasized the importance of becoming a problem solver in life, stating: “If you want to be successful in life, be a problem solver. Ang mga messenger or delivery rider, sa pagsosolve on how to get things or food from one place to another. Be part of the solution, not the problem.”

Lyanaline Molina, who graduated Magna Cum Laude in Hospitality Management, delivered a heartfelt speech. She recalled the challenges she faced during her studies, especially during the COVID pandemic, and expressed deep gratitude for her parents’ unwavering support. She said: “Hindi naging madali lalo na noong umpisa.
