Senator Edgardo J. Angara with the other leaders in the province graced the inaugration of Bazal bridge on January 21, 2011.

The project was a pre-stressed concrete girder, type IV Bridge with a length of 110 linear meters and width of 5.4 meters. The project was made possible through the General Grant Aid Program of Japan International Cooperative Agency under the Japan’s Official Development Assistance.

The construction of the bridge gives the resident of Barangay Bazal a convenient and faster access to the other part of the town – market, educational and health facilites. Other benefits of the project includes lower fares for the students and workers, a safe and faster way to deliver products and services for the farmers, and it will encouarage more students to pursue their college degree at the ASCOT Campus located in the Barangay.
