Basic Life Support with Automated External Defibrillator: Empowering Everyone with Life-Saving Knowledge for Inclusive and Gender-Responsive Care

The Basic Life Support with Automated External Defibrillator training marks a significant step towards empowering individuals with life-saving skills. By equipping participants with the knowledge and confidence to respond to cardiac emergencies, we can bridge the gap in emergency care and promote a culture of inclusivity and responsiveness. This training not only enhances the capacity of individuals to save lives but also fosters a sense of community and social responsibility. As we strive for a more inclusive and gender-responsive healthcare system, initiatives like this play a vital role in ensuring that everyone, regardless of background or identity, receives the care and support they deserve.

The Basic Life Support training activity was successfully conducted, commencing with a pre-medical assessment to ensure participants’ health and safety. Vital signs monitoring and preliminary checks confirmed their fitness to participate. The event proceeded with registration, pre-test, theoretical discussion, and demonstration on the first day, followed by return demonstration on the second day. Throughout the activity, nurses were on standby to monitor participants’ conditions, prioritizing their comfort and safety.
