August 2, 2024 — The Aurora State College of Technology (ASCOT) has just completed an epic campus cleanup and beautification mission in preparation for the 2024 school year. As part of our vibrant Brigada Kolehiyo initiative, faculty, staff, key officials, and students came together with brooms, paintbrushes, and heaps of enthusiasm to transform our college into a sparkling oasis of learning!

This grand effort wasn’t just about tidying up—it’s about creating a welcoming, safe, and inspiring environment where students can thrive. By rolling up their sleeves and working side by side, the ASCOT community demonstrated remarkable teamwork, responsibility, and unity.

A Day of Action and Fun!
Each office and school contributed to the cleanup by collecting and properly disposing of trash, clearing sidewalks and pathways, and pruning trees and shrubs. The campus is now not only beautiful but also safe and accessible for everyone.

This initiative reflects ASCOT’s commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (UN SDG) 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities. By maintaining a clean and organized campus, ASCOT stands firm on sustainability and resilience, ensuring a bright future for all its members.

This event truly embodies the spirit of ASCOT—where community, cooperation, and environmental care come together. A huge shoutout to everyone who participated and made this day a resounding success!

Let’s keep the momentum going, ASCOTians! Together, we’re not just cleaning up; we’re building a community that shines.
