May 15, 2024 – ASCOT President Renato G. Reyes attended the National Higher Education Day Summit 2024 held at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC).

He was among the attendees from SUCs in Central Luzon. The summit showcased a united effort towards educational reform. This year’s theme “Access, Quality, and Competitiveness at the Core of Higher Education Reforms,” provided a platform for fostering partnerships and addressing challenges within the educational landscape.

The event was a collaboration with the CHED-Unified Student Financial Assistance System for Tertiary Education (UniFAST) and Philippine Normal University (PNU). It also celebrated CHED’s 30th Anniversary and the 4th Higher Education Day under the theme “Resilient and Transformative Higher Education.
