The said event is an annual undertaking of the Consortium that aims to facilitate the presentation and evaluation of technologies, significant research result and innovations ready for promotion and/or commercialization. Through the symposium, the participants- scientists, researchers, trainers, communicators, extension workers, policy-makers, farmers and students are get the privilege to interact with the technology generators and be able to evaluate and give feedback regarding the potentials of such emerging technologies and innovations.Moreover, it also serves as a venue to honor dedicated R and D workers by recognizing best papers and poster on research and development. As a whole, the ultimate goal of the activity is to promote and disseminate excellent R & D outputs that are responsive to regional and national needs.
ASCOT being one of the R&D implementing Agencies, together with PLGU-AURORA, TESDA 3, PhilRice and other SUCs and Research agencies, plays a vital role in the knowledge generation that tries to uplift the quality of life of Aurorans and citizen of Region III. True to its mission to serve as a fulcrum of interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary scientific, applied and development-oriented researchers that leads to technological innovations that will be helpful in the upliftment of the community it serves.
Side activities included in the event are the Regional Research Development Coordinating Council (RRDCC) 4th Quarter Regular Meeting and a Fellowship Dinner.
