The Aurora State College of Technology (ASCOT) was honored with recognition during the Araw ng Pagkilala 2024, Natatanging Anak ng Aurora ceremony, held on February 18 at the Provincial Capitol Grounds.
This recognition was part of the celebrations commemorating the 45th founding anniversary of Aurora Province, and 136th Birth Anniversary of Doña Aurora Aragon Quezon.
ASCOT President Dr. Renato G. Reyes, graciously accepted the acknowledgment on behalf of the institution.
The college was acknowledged as a partner agency for its active participation in promoting and implementing various advocacy initiatives, such as mental health awareness, the establishment of the province-led Agricultural and Fisheries Extension System (PAFES), and the Buhay Ingatan, Droga’y Ayawan (BIDA) Program.
ASCOT extends its gratitude to the former administration, led by former President Dr. Eutiquio L. Rotaquio, Jr., for their invaluable support in advancing these advocacies.
This recognition underscores ASCOT’s dedication to fostering positive change and making a meaningful impact in the lives of the people of Aurora Province.
