May 24, 2024- ASCOT President Dr. Renato G. Reyes launched two groundbreaking books on Philippine mushrooms at the ASCOT Meet and Greet Gala, Baler Convention Center. These publications, “Ethnomycology and Mykopharming of Philippine Mushrooms” and “Pictorial Guide on Philippine Indigenous Mushrooms,” explore the country’s macrofungal diversity and traditional practices.

Developed under the Tuklas Lunas Development Center – Central Luzon State University where Dr. Renato Reyes served as Program Leader and supported by the Department of Science and Technology’s Philippine Council for Health Research and Development , these books feature contributions from Dr. Sofronio P. Kalaw, Dr. Rich Milton R. Dulay, Dr. Jerwin R. Undan, Dr. Angeles M. De Leon, Mr. Marcelino Abon, Mr. Joshua Ramos, Mr. Rence Marrion Pineda, Mr. Mark Adrian del Rosario, Ms. Dana Theresa De Leon, Mr. Eduardo Damaso Jr., Mr. Benjie Garcia, Dr. Iwan Saskiawan and Dr. Renato G. Reyes and are published by Central Luzon State University.
