In preparation for the celebration of the 20th Philippine-Spanish Friendship Day, the Aurora State College of Technology (ASCOT) participated in the municipal-wide clean-up activity spearheaded by the Municipal Government of Baler through the office of the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources, July 6.

Together with the Philippine Coast Guard and officials from Brgy. Zabali and Brgy., ASCOT, through the Physical Plant and Site Development Services Office (PPSDSO), participated in the said activity with their cleaning tools such as brooms, dust pans, and sacks from the “Putok sa Dicaloyungan” marker to the old basketball court in Sitio Kinalapan as their area assignment.

In a Facebook post, the College President, Dr. Eutiquio L. Rotaquio Jr., thanked the PPSDSO team led by Director Jose L. Sanchez, the Department of Forestry and Environmental Sciences faculty members and staff, student-organizations, and all ASCOT employees who joined the said activity, which is of great help in the community.
