Aurora State College of Technology proudly participated in the celebration of the 123rd Philippine Civil Service Anniversary on September 22, 2023, under the theme “Transforming Public Service in the Next Decade: Honoring Agile and Future-Ready Servant-Heroes.”
The highlight of the event was the recognition of the three 2023 Dangal ng Bayan Regional Awardees, namely Mayor Rhett T. Angara of LGU-Baler, Mayor Sherwin Taay of LGU-Dingalan, and Dr. Rioshalie Y. Madrid, D.V.M., from ASCOT’s School of Agriculture and Aquatic Sciences. We take immense pride in Dr. Madrid, who rightfully received this prestigious honor.
This year’s festivities were filled with engaging activities, including a Zumba competition, the presentation of winners for the photography contest, a fantasy hair and makeup competition, the 2nd LAHRMP Bake-off, and the government vocals competition.
In a performance, the ASCOT School of Information Technology Faculty dancers wowed the crowd with their energy and enthusiasm. Civil Service Month is more than just a gathering; it’s a special time to honor the dedication and hard work of our civil servants—the unsung heroes who serve our communities and contribute to making our country a better place to live.
