March 25, 2024 – The Aurora State College of Technology (ASCOT) partnered with the Central Luzon State University (CLSU) Testing and Evaluation Center to organize a seminar focused on institutionalizing testing and evaluation practices.

Led by ASCOT President Renato G. Reyes, the event brought together ASCOT faculty and staff to learn from Dr. Elmer Dela Rosa, Head of CLSU Testing and Evaluation Center, and Dr. Rhodora Dela Rosa, In-Charge of the Evaluation Unit at CLSU’s Testing and Evaluation Center. Key topics included the establishment history, proposal inclusion of a continuity plan for unforeseen circumstances, goals, and organizational structure.

The seminar aimed to deepen understanding of establishing a Testing and Evaluation Center, which serves as a centralized hub for psycho-educational testing, performance evaluation, and academic research, offering screening services for incoming students and personnel, as well as psychological assessments for special cases among students, faculty, and staff.
