Aurora State College of Technology successfully held its 25th Commencement Exercises and the 3rd Midterm Graduation Ceremony of the College for students who finished their course of study at the end of First Semester, SY 2017-2018 in the newly constructed ASCOT Gymnasium last Friday, October 27, 2017.
The Guest of Honor and Commencement Speaker, VP Eduardo N. Reyes, Jr., Head, Nueva Ecija Lending Center, Land Bank of the Philippines-Cabanatuan City delivered an inspiring and enriching keynote address which centred on the celebration’s theme, “Facing 21st Century Challenges by Fostering Academic Excellence and Applying Diverse Education Perspectives”. He congratulated not just the members of the graduating class but also their parents and teachers and spoke to the many ways on how graduates can achieve fulfillment and serve well in service.
Dr. Doracie B. Zoleta-Nantes, ASCOT President led the imposition of hoods and awarding of Diplomas and Certificates to a total of twelve graduates in the Graduate Program, twenty for the Certificate in Professional Education and forty-eight in the Undergraduate Program.
Highlights of the ceremony include the confirmation of the Degrees, awarding and distribution of Diploma and the Pledge of Loyalty to the Alma Mater and the induction of the graduates to the ASCOT Alumni Association.
