As the Aurora State College of Technology (ASCOT) continues to celebrate with the whole nation National Women’s Month 2023 this March, one of the College’s empowered women, ASCOT’s Accountant III from the Accounting Unit, Mrs. Lorieflor F. Aragon, CPA, served as our guest for today’s episode of ASCOT ‘TO (Todo-Todo) at 92.1 RTV Baler!

In our program’s Episode 57 (Perang Pinaghirapan, Palaguin at Alagaan!), Mrs. Aragon, or inside ASCOT, we call Ma’am Pau, shared with our listeners the main duty of the College’s Accounting Unit, which is to provide ideal client satisfaction through continuous improvement of its quality management system in the provision of efficient accounting services, timely submission of deliverables, and compliance with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, making it one of the exceptional units of the College.

As a Certified Public Accountant, Ma’am Pau also discussed how useful accounting principles can be applied in our daily lives, such as budgeting, spending, paying taxes, saving money, and investing.

In today’s program, ASCOT’s Executive Assistant II from the Office of the President, Ms. Mharjorie D. Vigilia, serenaded our listeners with a song entitled “Di Na Muli, by Itchyworms” for our Todo-Todong ASCOTian segment.

Also joining us as guest co-hosts were Mr. Edmundo David, Jr., and Ms. Kriselle Tangalin, Instructors from the ASCOT School of Education.

Catch ASCOT ‘TO every other Tuesday (8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.) airing on 92.1 FM RTV Baler. You can also watch it live on the official Facebook pages of ASCOT and RTV Baler!
