The Director of the ASCOT Information and Communication Technology Center (ICTC), Engr. Godfrey B. Gudoy served as our guest for today’s episode of ASCOT ‘TO (Todo-Todo) at 92.1 FM RTV Baler!
In our program’s Episode 50 (Let’s Get to Know ICTC! ), Sir Gudoy shared with our listeners how ICTC began its operation in 2002. He also discussed the office’s four main functions, which include developing plans and policies for ASCOT’s ICT utilization, preparing proposals for improving the college’s ICT infrastructures, operating and maintaining the college’s website, creating audio-visual presentations for ASCOT’s information dissemination, and providing training to students, employees, and the community.
Engr. Gudoy also presented to our listeners the activities and services ICTC is providing to our stakeholders, like ID processing, event video and photo coverage, graduation pictorials, the preparation of yearbooks, and many more.
Being awarded as one of the top performing Tech4Ed centers in Region 3, Sir Gudoy also informed us on how ASCOT collaborates with the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) through ICTC to bring technology and internet access closer to all groups of people and stakeholders in the community.
