ASCOT ‘To! Episode 33: Ligtas ang May Alam!
Workplace safety regulations are important because they protect employees, customers, and the company’s reputation. Enforcing workplace safety regulations can help to prevent accidents and injuries while also increasing productivity.
Our guests from the College’s Disaster Risk and Reduction Management Office, DRRMO Director, For. Mark Christian Facun; Safety Officer, Wandeg Diguinat; and Fire Safety Officer, Harry Jostunal, shared some workplace safety tips in today’s episode 33: “Ligtas ang may Alam.” One of our favorites is the P.A.S.S. (Pull, Aim, Squeeze, Sweep) acronym stands for the correct and safest way to use a fire extinguisher.
They also provided expert advice on how to keep the home and family safe from common dangers and hazards. We are reminded of the importance of keeping LPG tanks closed at all times. Never check for gas leaks with a flashlight, match, or candle, and never turn on or off electric switches if you suspect a gas leak.
Catch the program every Thursday, 9:00-10:00AM, at 92.1 RTV Baler and shared livestream via ASCOT Official Facebook Page.
