June 25, 2024, the Aurora State College of Technology (ASCOT) held its Mid-Year Management Review, led by the Office of the Vice President for Administration, Planning, and Finance and presided over by Engr. Oscar C. Barawid, PhD.

Engr. Barawid emphasized the importance of such events, noting that they allow for the assessment of ASCOT’s accomplishments and compliances. “Sa mga ganitong pagkakataon nakikita at na-e-evaluate natin ang physical and financial accomplishment ng kolehiyo. Nakikita rin natin compliance ng bawat units a offices sa mga process and procedures na in-line sa ating ISO accreditation,” he said.

During the review, each unit and office had the opportunity to present their accomplishments and audit observations. This provided a platform for transparency and accountability within the institution.
An open forum was also held, fostering an exchange of suggestions and ideas among the participants. This interactive session aimed to enhance collaboration and improve overall performance.

The mid-year management review aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions. This goal emphasizes the importance of building effective, accountable, and inclusive institutions at all levels.
