May 13, 2026– Local innovations of the Aurora State College of Technology (ASCOT) designed to serve communities in Aurora Province are now among the recognized entries in the 2026 World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI) Global Top 100 across various categories.
A total of 18 ASCOT entries were recognized in this year’s WURI rankings, highlighting the College’s initiatives on sustainability, environmental conservation, cultural preservation, governance, entrepreneurship, education, biodiversity protection, and community resilience. ASCOT also ranked No. 337 worldwide in WURI 2026.
Under the leadership of ASCOT President Dr. Renato G. Reyes, the College continues to strengthen its commitment to practical, research-driven, and people-centered innovations through its vision, “ASCOT to the World, in the World, and for the World.”
