July 18, 2024 — Aurora State College of Technology (ASCOT) proudly received the Philippine Quality Award (PQA) for its Commitment to Excellence in Quality Management during the 26th PQA Assessment Cycle. The award was presented by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) at Heroes Hall, Malacañang Palace, on July 17, 2024, recognizing ASCOT among three organizations honored with the Recognition for Commitment to Quality Management (Level 1).

The ceremony featured notable attendees, including Executive Secretary Lucas P. Bersamin, who conferred the awards on behalf of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., and DTI Secretary Alfredo E. Pascual. Secretary Bersamin emphasized the importance of the PQA in promoting development and international standards, while Secretary Pascual highlighted the role of awardees in enhancing national competitiveness through quality management and innovation.

The trophy was ceremoniously handed over to ASCOT President Renato G. Reyes by the ASCOT PQA Champions and the PQA team.
