The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) kicked off its 27th Founding Anniversary with the theme “Padyak! Moving Forward, Claiming Victory for Philippine Higher Education (Pamantasan: Pandayan Tungo sa Kaunlaran)”. Higher Education Institutions (HEI) showed their support by participating in the contests that CHED organized. It varies from dance challenges to video contests.

The Aurora State College of Technology (ASCOT) held a video contest. All departments and offices were encouraged to join. In making the video presentations, they must remember to follow the theme. There were two categories—administrative unit and academic department. The video presentations were 3-10 minutes long. The videos were uploaded on the ASCOT Facebook page.
