The Aurora State College of Technology – Casiguran Campus recently conducted a ground-breaking ceremony for its first building. ASCOT President, Dr. Eusebio V. Angara and Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. OScar T. Vallejo graced the ceremony on January 12, 2010 at Brgy. Esteves, Casiguran, Aurora.
The faculty, guests, students and parents of of the 2-year old extension campus were also present as Fiscal Jessie Pimentel, ASCOT Legal Counsel read the virtue by which ASCOT can formally establish site development. Gov. Bellaflor Angara-Castillo, although not present during the occasion, pledged finacial support for the construction of a campus dormitory.
Located at Brgy. Esteves, the Casiguran Campus of ASCOT opened last 2009 with one course offering, which is BS Fisheries. On its second year, the BIT Electrical Technology was also offered.
